Summertime is encroaching which means beach season is almost upon us.  Many people are feeling the pressure (like every year) to get their figure in “beach-bod” condition.  Hot yoga, cold yoga, regular yoga, circuits, kickboxing, spinning, kettleballs, and moving boxes. 

Happy belated Mothers Day to all you moms out there.  We could not have had a more picturesque day in Chicago to celebrate the women who inspire us day in and day out.  I hope you all were able to share the beautiful day with a deserving mom.

Even if you are not still in school, it is hard not to catch wind of it being graduation time.  Whether you were notified via a facebook post, family friend, sibling, or co-worker, you can be certain that there is going to be a lot of moving back home taking place in the next couple weeks.

Moving involves getting from point A to point B.  Fact. 

Here we are.  I am writing this to you in my hour of planning, being every evening before I go to sleep.  Planning what to wear, what to bring, weather conditions, work material, etc etc.  So necessary if I want to sleep in as LATE as possible in the am (still being 6:30am….). 

With Cinco de Mayo being tomorrow, it seems that my Google Reader ONLY has tacos and margaritas on it’s mind…..and I am in by no means opposed.  With the great weather we have been having lately in Chicago, this day-long fiesta will be all the more fun to enjoy on a patio or in a friends backyard.  Ole!

With Mother’s Day approaching, there are a lot of ads and “specials” centered on moms, from preaching how great moms are to what heart-shaped jewelry to buy so her own heart breaks just a little.  Moms are the best.  They have this way of knowing everything and always being able to say the right thing.  I’m a huge fan. 

It’s a known fact that listening to music can make even the most mundane chores enjoyable.  Heck, from 7 dwarves “whistling while they work”, to Barney and friends singing “The Clean-up Song” we have been taught from a young age that work is best when paired with music.
